The Complex Case and Recovery Management Framework (The CCaRM©) was originally developed to serve as a service platform for complex case management in an Intellectual Disability & Autism setting.

In subsequent use it has also been of value for teaching care strategy development with care practitioners. This work was supported by the development of a Learning Website: www.valuebasedhealth.uk.

The standalone sister-website deploys a series of exercises based around the value themes represented in The CCaRM. The aim is to support the user with a specific case in mind. For each element of the approach, the exercises are aimed to stimulate the co-production of “Your Care Strategy”.

Self- Guided Learning for the Complex Case

Practitioners involved in Complex Case Management may find the self-guided CCaRM website to be a helpful resource. There is growing recognition of Learning Disability and Autism in mainstream services. Many other areas of health similarly give rise to complexity.

Practitioners are welcome to try out the self Guided CCaRM exercises for themselves on the understanding that it is a project in development, and that they provide feedback on its usefulness to them.
