Complex Case Reviews
I undertake complex case reviews for health and care organisations, and partner agencies.
The format can be:
A Professional Report
A Desktop Review
As part of a review panel
A Serious Untoward Incident (SUI) Review
I am experienced in Root Cause Analysis, Oxford Learning Events, and systems evaluation. My work is informed by developing a clear brief, and working collaboratively and positively with others involved.
Professional Conversations
I am interested in value-based service innovation and design. I have experience with a range of service design and improvement tools including Lean’s PDSA cycles and value stream mapping. I have researched service platform design in healthcare. I am interested in the use “democratic outcome” techniques.
It would be interesting to collaborate with others in health and care organisations, and other agencies, looking to learn more about value-based complex case management.
Topics might include:
Value-Based Service Care Pathway design and improvement
Implementation of case level integrated care in practice
Service learning from complaints and case series
Complex Case Workshops
Workshopping complex cases offers a fresh and distinctly different approach to scoping out care strategy. The CCaRM based format encourages participation from service-users, carers, professionals and other stakeholders to more quickly agree a working service platform, co-produced in real time, to best serve the needs in hand.
I undertake the following, by invitation:
Complex care workshops with relevant parties for particular cases of concern (for example for progress delay, or “falling through the cracks” concerns).
Workshop based professional training programmes for complex case management.
Professional mentoring and coaching for individuals or teams wising to learn Complex Case Workshopping skills.
I am one of the originators and co-developers of CCaRM based Complex Case Workshops.
